I had initially used the very thin liner and size 0 or 1 brushes for brush lettering. I think these brushes are quite expressive, by which I mean the strokes can convey a lot of movement and dramatically change in thickness. I use these brushes to make my tropical flowers, like those shown in the top right. I really like the oval mop shaped brush for rounder petals, as in the top left. The flat shader brushes are really useful for stripes. I recently started using the script size 4 brush (top left) and have been enjoying discovering its gestures. I pick out brushes from the art store that are meant for gouache or watercolor and that look like they will create petal-like shapes, because I love painting flowers.
